• To enhance the participants’ awareness of how hand massage can support a person at the end of life.

Learning Outcomes:
• To gain an awareness of safe practice when using hand massage, including the contra-indications to its
use.
• To gain an understanding of how hand massage can be used to support the different domains of holistic
care at the end of life.
• To demonstrate safe practice with a simple hand massage routine.
