The compassionate Hospice Care we offer to patients and their families is only possible through the generous support of our local community, who have provided both money and time to support us for over 40 years. The Government/NHS only provide around 20% of our income, so we have to raise over £20,000 every single day to offer all our services. Please support us, so we can continue to offer this valuable care to local families at probably the worst times in their lives.

COVID-19 UPDATE - during these uncertain times, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel most of our fundraising events and close our shops. Due to the easing of Government lockdown restrictions, we are now starting a phased reopening of our shops. We have also already seen a decline in donations. We believe the impact on our income due to Covid-19 will be significant. Please donate now if you can.

Below, you'll see some of the many other ways that you can support us and, in particular, would love you to see some of the new fundraising activities we have launched during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Connect With Us
Our Care
We provide a range of free services to ensure that adult patients and families living with an advanced or terminal illness (such as cancer, heart, lung or neurological disease) can make the most of their lives…because every day is precious. Regrettably, all our Living Well groups have been temporarily suspended due to the UK Coronavirus situation. We will be contacting existing patients to discuss their needs (as we will continue to support them in an alternative way) however if your health deteriorates and you need our support, please contact our Advice & Referral team for advice: 01252 729440.
Health Care Professionals
On this site, you will find a lot of information about Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and the services we provide, and how Health & Social Care Professionals can refer patients, receive advice or attend training courses.
Celebrating 40 Years of Care
Opened in 1979, Phyllis Tuckwell is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another advanced or terminal illness (such as heart, lung or neurological disease) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. 'THANK YOU' to our amazing community for their generous support - we couldn't do it without you!

Tilford gardening club has had to invent some new ideas instead of the usual shows during this covid year, and as many members have been gardening while locked down or shielding, they came up with the Chairmans Charity Challenge, which involved:

1. Pick 10 of your best flowers and put in a large jam jar.
2. Choose 3 vegetable or salad items and put on display.
3. Make up a small dessert bowl of soft fruit.

At the end of the day, the flowers were made into 14 pretty bunches, the fruit and extra vegetables packed into a large box and all taken to Phyllis Tuckwell.

These were all hugely appreciated by the nurses and staff here, and we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved.
