Make a Will that makes a difference
Leaving a gift in your Will to Phyllis Tuckwell means you can make a real difference to local people living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.
A gift in your Will, of any value, will help us continue to provide the supportive and end of life care which we offer at the Hospice in Farnham, the Beacon Centre in Guildford, in patients’ own homes and in the community. But only one in seven of us who make a Will includes a gift to charity.
For many people living on a fixed income, retired or with growing families, giving in their lifetime can be difficult. Donating through a gift in your Will (known as a legacy) is an attractive alternative, enabling you to give from your estate after your death. It is also a very tax-efficient way of giving, as gifts to charity are exempt from Inheritance Tax. Also, if you pledge at least 10% of your estate to charity, you will benefit from a lower rate of inheritance tax (36% instead of 40%) on the rest.

You can also have your name added to our online Legacy Book, enabling your family and friends to see it at any time.
