Donation Centre

Phyllis Tuckwell has two Donation Centres where you can bring items that you no longer need like furniture, clothing, books, DVDs, other household objects and bric-a-brac. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept any electrical items.

Shops

For smaller items like clothes, please drop in your items to your nearest Phyllis Tuckwell shop. You can take your donations to any of our shops, Monday to Saturday. Find more information about your local Phyllis Tuckwell shop including contact details, locations and opening hours.

We need your items – Bag It and Give scheme

Do you have lots of items you no longer need? Or maybe you work for an organization or company that is looking for a different way to support local people?

If the answer is yes, why not take part in our Bag It and Give (BIAG) campaign and help Phyllis Tuckwell raise 25% more from donations of clothes, accessories, handbags, shoes, books, DVDs, toys and bric-a-brac by filling in a Gift Aid form if you are a UK tax payer.

To get involved in Phyllis Tuckwell’s Bag It and Give scheme all you need to do is to collect a donation bag from any of our 20 shops. For larger items or quantities that you may need help transporting, please call us on 01252 710679 to arrange a free assessment and collection service.

We will then arrange for some donation bags to be dropped off to your preferred location and will collect all donations at a convenient time to you (please note that door-to-door collections will be made around a week after the bags have been distributed.)

If you are representing an organization or company, why not give one of our ‘donation stations’ a home in your meeting room, offices, reception or staff canteen? These are cardboard donation stations that hold approximately 20 full donation bags of stock and come with a supply of bags to distribute amongst your staff and are emptied on a regular basis by one of our friendly collection drivers. We can provide supporting leaflets and posters to really raise awareness amongst the staff and visitors to your premises.

For more information on Bag It and Give or to register your interest please call us on 01252 710679 or email us at [email protected]

Thank you for your support. We look forward to hearing from you!

Gift Aid

If you sign up to Gift Aid, the government gives us 25p for every pound we make from your donation. That’s 25% more!

So, if we sell your donation for £20, we can claim an extra £5, making it worth £25! How amazing is that!

As long as you pay income tax or capital gains tax, you can sign up to Gift Aid. Simply fill in a form when you drop off your donation and make a bigger impact.
