The event was kindly hosted by long-time Phyllis Tuckwell supporters Robert and Tanya Lewis, at a location in Churt where they have an incredible collection of over 60 pristine classic cars, over 100 petrol pumps, and thousands of pieces of motoring memorabilia. Around 2,500 people came to the event, 500 of whom also brought along their own vehicles to display. Trophies were awarded to category winning cars, and there was a People’s Choice award which was voted for by attendees. Phyllis Tuckwell’s pop up shop was there too, and was visited by many of the attendees, and there were also other stalls to browse, including an autojumble. Music by local band Los Doritos, refreshments, F1 Simulator for attendees to have a go, along with a raffle and silent auction, made this a great day out for the whole family.

“We're thrilled that so many people came to our Motor Show to enjoy seeing these amazing vehicles and to exhibit their own much-loved cars and motorcycles,” said Ruth Masters, fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We would like to thank Robert and Tanya Lewis for once again so generously enabling us to host the show at their venue and for including their motor collection in the exhibition. Our thanks also go to Kelly’s Storage who generously sponsored the event and attended on the day, Paul Fitchett Images for taking photos, and all of our volunteers without whose help the event wouldn’t have been possible."

£50,000 could cover the cost of Phyllis Tuckwell's Living Well service for nearly four weeks. This important service supports over 430 patients a year. It cares for people earlier in their illness, offering them nursing and medical care, therapies, counselling and group activities to help them manage their symptoms and live life as fully and independently as possible.

Phyllis Tuckwell's 2027 Motor Show will be held on Sunday 1st August 2027, so put the date in your diary now and look forward to a fantastic family day out! Register as an attendee or vehicle exhibitor at earlybird prices by visiting www.pth.org.uk/motor-show

Please help us

All our services are free, but this is only possible due to the generosity of our amazing community. The Government/NHS only provide 25% of our costs, so we need to raise over £30,000 every day to provide our vital services.

Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available to all those in our community who need us.
