How do your donations help us?

With a regular gift you will help us to ensure that we can continue to provide compassionate supportive and end of life care to patients, families and carers, when they need it the most.

Over a year, your monthly donations could help pay for the following…

Make a regular donation

Patients gardening at a table

£5 per month

£5 a month can pay for one Living Well session, where patients can receive advice and support from our nurses and other staff, and socialise with others in friendly and welcoming setting.

Children taking part in arts and crafts

£10 per month

£10 a month can pay for craft materials for children attending one of our Little Rays after school sessions.

Patients cooking at a table

£20 per month

£20 a month can pay for a year’s supply of ingredients for our cookery group – part of our ‘Living Well’ activities, aimed at making the most of life and increasing well-being and confidence in patients.

"The work his counsellor did with him, and giving the school advice on what strategies they could try, did massively help. Now he’s much more able to deal with things because he got the help in the early stages."

Gift Aid Declaration

I want to Gift Aid my current donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to Phyllis Tuckwell.
  • I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
  • I will notify Phyllis Tuckwell of any change in my personal circumstances, such as name and address, or that I no longer pay UK Income or Capital Gains Tax or I wish to cancel the declaration.

Please notify us if you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address details or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

If you pay tax at a rate of 40% or above, you can claim the difference between the higher and basic rate on your donation. You can do this through your Self-Assessment tax return or by asking HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to amend your tax code. You can then choose to donate this amount back to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care – if you’d like.

If you are not a UK taxpayer and therefore Gift Aid does not apply to you, please tick this box - we will not write to you about Gift Aid again.
