Whilst fundraising continues... work on your new Hospice is progressing well!
We’re thrilled to be able to share some photos with you, so you can see how it’s now starting to take shape!
Over the past few months the ground has been levelled, the foundations laid, and underground drainage has been put in place. A large tower crane has been fixed in the centre of what will be the beautiful new courtyard garden.
The tower crane was installed successfully, with no issues, and can now be seen from all around Farnham, so the Hospice location can be pinpointed easily now, even from the very top of Farnham Park.
This crane enables the builders to bring all the large materials they need onto the site and to install the steel framework, pre-cast concrete stairs and floor slabs of the building.
Once this is complete, the bricklayers will start constructing the walls. Following that, the roof structures will be built, and the windows and doors will be installed.
THANK YOU!
We still have a way to go to raise sufficient funding for this project and continue to welcome donations. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has already donated so far. Your support is much appreciated.
We have the extraordinary challenge of raising £6 million for the build, on top of the £9 million we have to raise each year, which is why our supporters' generosity means so very much to us.
