Phyllis Tuckwell Launches Christmas Appeal

Will you help Phyllis Tuckwell care for patients and loved ones who are spending their last Christmas together?

Phyllis Tuckwell provides its specialist Hospice Care every single day of the year, and Christmas is no exception. It has launched its Christmas appeal to raise money to help fund this vital care, which it offers on its In-Patient Unit, through its Living Well sessions, and in patients’ own homes and care homes across West Surrey and North-East Hampshire.

The appeal features Brian, whose dad, Peter, and sister, Janet, were cared for by Phyllis Tuckwell. “At the worst possible time, when your world is changing, or ending really, to have that support - it’s everything,” said Brian.

Instead of spending Christmas Day at home with their families, many of Phyllis Tuckwell’s staff will be caring for patients and their loved ones. Heather, inpatient services manager at Phyllis Tuckwell, feels privileged to spend Christmas with them. “To help our patients and their loved ones through the festive season and to share that special time with them, is one of the most important Christmas gifts I could ever give or receive,” she said.

Could you make a gift this Christmas to support Phyllis Tuckwell’s care? Your donation will help ensure that it can always be there for those who need it, every Christmas and every day of the year. Any amount you can give will make a difference.

Please help us

All our services are free, but this is only possible due to the generosity of our amazing community. The Government/NHS only provide 25% of our costs, so we need to raise over £25,000 every day to provide our vital services.

Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available to all those in our community who need us.
