Phyllis Tuckwell’s new Hospice in Farnham will open this spring, and the local hospice care charity invites you to celebrate with a glass of locally brewed Hogs Back beer and superb music from 16-piece jazz orchestra, The Barnes Big Band. Big Band Jazz at The Hogs Back Brewery will take place on Sunday 14th June, from 1pm to 5.30pm, and will raise money for Phyllis Tuckwell. Your new Hospice will enable Phyllis Tuckwell to provide its specialist care to even more local people who need its help.

Held in The Hogs Back Brewery’s hangar and garden in Tongham, this summery event will see The Barnes Big Band, accompanied by top jazz singer Vanessa Rose, perform a wide range of cool jazz music, from the music of the Count Basie Orchestra right through to more modern compositions written specially for the Barnes Band.
The event will open at 1pm, with music from 2pm to 4.30pm. There will be food on sale and plenty of drinks to choose from, including the Tuckwell Tribute Ale, a special hoppy brew created specially by The Hogs Back Brewery to celebrate the opening of the new Hospice. You’ll be offered a pint when you arrive, as tickets include a welcome drink of either Tuckwell Tribute Ale, a glass of Pimm's or a soft drink. All our services are free, but this is only possible due to the generosity of our amazing community. The Government/NHS only provide 25% of our costs, so we need to raise over £25,000 every day to provide our vital services.
