Phyllis Tuckwell Motor Show Returns at Amazing New Venue

Local hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell is delighted to announce the return of its hugely popular Motor Show. Taking place from 10am on Sunday 6th August, the show promises a day full of spectacular vehicles, from classic cars and campervans, to motorcycles, scooters and motoring memorabilia.

This year’s Motor Show will be held at a wonderful private venue in Churt, whose owners Robert & Tanya Lewis will be kindly opening up their personal, incredible collection of over 60 pristine classic cars from 1903 to present day, including the fastest car in the world, plus over 100 petrol pumps, thousands of pieces of memorabilia and so much more. It is an opportunity not to be missed.

Phyllis Tuckwell is looking for more unique and spectacular vehicles to join the show, so if you would like to register to exhibit your vehicle, they would love to hear from you. Early bird registration is available until 17th March, after which standard rate fees will apply. Simply visit www.pth.org.uk/motor-show to register and for all further information. As well as a fantastic display of motor vehicles, there will also be food and drink to purchase, stalls to browse, and musical entertainment – a great day out for all the family.

All of the money raised by the Motor Show will go directly towards helping fund the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Every day it supports over 250 patients, relatives and carers – in their own homes, in the community, at the Hospice in Farnham and at the Beacon Centre in Guildford – but as the NHS/Government usually only covers about 20% of its costs, it has to raise over £25,000 a day to do this.

“We are so grateful to Robert & Tanya Lewis for allowing us to use their stunning venue and collection to help us raise much-needed funds so that we can care for our patients and their families,” said Laura Moody, Events Manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We hope that you will join us to either exhibit your vehicle or book a ticket to attend on the day to enjoy our Motor Show.”
