Music in the Park is back for 2025, so buy your Early Bird tickets now and get ready for an incredible weekend of live music, all in aid of local Hospice Care charity Phyllis Tuckwell! Kindly organised by the Rotary Club of Farnborough, Music in the Park will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July, at King George V Playing Fields in Farnborough.
Saturday’s line-up will feature music from three amazing tribute acts. New Jovi, the ultimate tribute to Bon Jovi, will have you rocking out to their energetic and authentic performances of greatest hits including Livin’ on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name and Runaway. Following them, The UB40 Experience, fronted by international Ali Campbell tribute vocalist and former 'Stars in your Eyes' live grand finalist Andy Bagnall, will have you grooving along to tunes including Red Red Wine, Kingston Town and I Got You Babe. The final act of the night is Tony Lewis, whose amazing Robbie Williams tribute act will leave you wondering if that was actually the real Robbie! His act will cover the greatest hits of Stoke’s finest export, from the old boyband favourites and a hint of swing, right up to modern classics. Sunday will take you back to the 70’s & 80’s dancefloor, with the brilliant Lost in Music. Relive some of the greatest disco songs of all time, from artists such as Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Earth, Wind & Fire, Sister Sledge, Chic and many more.
“We’re thrilled that Music in the Park is back, and so excited to see the amazing bands that will be performing,” said Laura Moody, income generation innovation manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We’re incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Farnborough for organising this event in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell, and to our wonderful sponsors: Farnborough Airport, Herrington Carmichael, Rio Homes, The Village Hotel, Branston Adams, and Davies, Blunden & Evans. Book your tickets now, invite family and friends to join you, and bring your picnic and your dancing shoes for a fantastic weekend of music!”
Since it was first launched in 2001, Music in the Park has raised an incredible £525,000 for Phyllis Tuckwell, which provides palliative and end of life care for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness such as cancer. Every day it supports over 250 patients, relatives and carers, through medical and nursing care, therapies, counselling, social work advice and practical support, but as the NHS/Government only cover 25% of its costs, it has to raise over £25,000 every day to do this, which is why fundraising events such as this are so important. Phyllis Tuckwell is looking for more companies to sponsor Music in the Park - if you are interested, please email support@pth.org.uk for more details.
Gates will open at 5pm each day; concerts start from 7.15pm; grand firework finale at approximately 10pm. Early bird adult tickets are priced at £30 until 30th April. From 1st May adult tickets will be £35, and on the day will be £40. Children aged 6-17 £10 and under-6 free. VIP tickets are also on sale priced £60, and include access to the Village Enclosure, designated parking, a welcome drink on arrival, a three-course dinner, private w/c facilities and a great view of the show.
