Tickets are on sale for Art & Music in the Garden at Greenhills Estate, Tilford - a special, one-off afternoon celebrating incredible British art, in a fabulous country estate setting with stunning gardens to explore and live music to enjoy.
This unique event will take place on Saturday 7th June at Greenhills Estate in Tilford, and is being held in aid of local charity Phyllis Tuckwell, which provides vital palliative and end of life care for local patients, families and carers living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

An extraordinary double-decker Art Bus will be at the event, containing works of art by Sir Peter Blake, the Godfather of British Pop Art, including well known album covers from The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper album, The Who, and Paul Weller’s Stanley Road, to name a few. Alongside these will be photographic works by Mike McCartney, brother of Paul McCartney, including rare images of the Beatles.
The bus will be parked near the gallery, where you can view original artwork and original limited edition prints by many well-known British artists, including Sir Peter Blake, Damien Hirst, Bruce Mclean, Frank Bowling and Donald Hamilton Fraser, as well as lithographic editions from His Majesty, King Charles III.
Tickets are on sale now, priced £50, which includes a welcome drink and summer berries with ice cream. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawns, where live music will be provided by The Ukaye Ukes, Edwin Baker and his jazz quintet, and Songs & Sax, father and daughter vocalist and sax duo Gary & Elle Branch.
All of the money raised by this bespoke event will help fund the Hospice Care that Phyllis Tuckwell provides. In order to be able to reach more people who needs its help, the charity is currently building a new Hospice on its existing site in Farnham. The owners of Greenhills house, Lance & Alexandra Trevellyan, are kindly hosting this event in support of this new Hospice, and all of the money raised will go directly towards the final amount needed to complete the build.
“We would like to thank Lance & Alexandra Trevellyan for hosting this fantastic event in support of our new Hospice,” said Ruth Masters, fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. "Our thanks also go to CCA Galleries, the headline sponsor of the event, and NFU Mutual and The Sculpture Park who are supporting sponsors.”
The art gallery, bus and gardens will be open for viewing and picnics from 1pm, with live music from 2pm. The event will close at 5.30pm. Cream teas are also available to purchase in advance when you book your tickets. You are welcome to bring garden chairs, blankets and a picnic, and make yourself comfortable on the lawns. There will also be a gardening talk/demonstration by Cathy Brooks-Welch, and the opportunity to see some art students from the University for the Creative Arts painting scenes in the garden. There is a short walk from the car park to the venue, but both are wheelchair accessible.
