As the population ages, 80% of us will need specialist care at the end of our lives. We’re building a new, larger, modern Hospice to meet that demand, and enable us to provide expert supportive and end of life care for thousands of local people and families. But it’s not our Hospice – it's YOURS. Because it’s for you, and everyone in the local area.
As a charity, we will receive no government or NHS funding whatsoever to build this vitally important Hospice, which is why we need YOUR help to make it happen.
We’re holding a special 36-hour fundraising event on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th May to kickstart our appeal, with some very special donors who have kindly agreed to match every £1 donated during this time, doubling the money raised!
Want to help support us?
To make it work, and make sure we get all the matched funding, we need local people and businesses to act as ‘champions’ and spread the word to their friends, families, customers, and associates over the course of the event. Each champion will have their own fundraising link so they can track how their supporters are doing.

All our services are free, but this is only possible due to the generosity of our amazing community. The Government/NHS only provide 25% of our costs, so we need to raise over £25,000 every day to provide our vital services.
