Enjoy the beauty of nature this spring and summer, with Phyllis Tuckwell's Open Gardens event.

Between May and August, over 40 gardens across West Surrey and North-East Hampshire will swing open their gates to welcome in the local community, all to raise money for local hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell. Excitingly, there will be three village open garden events, in Churt, Shamley Green and Busbridge, where you can explore a variety of gardens within each village.
From gardens with colourful wildflower meadows that stretch down to peaceful woodland streams, to those bursting with small shrubs and bright pots of flowers, there will be a huge array of gardens to see and admire. You may well end up coming away full of ideas of your own outdoor space!
All of the money raised through the small entry fees, and the sales of refreshments and plants that some garden owners also offer, will go directly towards helping fund the specialist care that Phyllis Tuckwell provides for patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.
“Open Gardens is all about enjoying the beauty of the amazing gardens that are here in our local community, and we do hope you can come along,” said Helena Burke, community fundraiser at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We’d also like to thank Kebur Garden Materials for once again kindly sponsoring this event.”
