Light Up a Life – Service of Remembrance
Light Up A Life – Service of Remembrance
NEW DATE* – Sunday 5th December
6.30pm at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice (GU9 8BL)
*Due to local events on the same day as previously advertised, please note that we have had to move this event to Sunday 5th December.
Everyone Welcome, free to attend.
We are delighted to be able to hold our Light Up A Light service again outside, at the Hospice. Please come and gather around our Christmas Tree to watch the lights being switched on in memory of all those no longer with us, and join us for our special service of carols, readings and prayers.
Please wrap up warm as the service is outdoors (without seating) and you may like to bring a torch, however we will be lighting the area as much as possible. Parking will be available at local schools but please do car share if possible. We expect the service to last approx. 30mins and we hope to serve mulled wine and mince pies after the service.
Should covid restrictions change between now and the event, we will update this page.
If you would like to join us for the service but are unable to attend in person then you can watch online at www.pth.org.uk/lual2021/ where it will be live streamed and also a recording will be available after.
Thank you to all those who have already made a dedication in memory of your loved one. If you would still like to make a dedication please click here.
If you would like your loved ones name to appear in our Book of Remembrance and be projected up on the front of Guildford Cathedral on the night of Tuesday 7th December then your dedication must reach us by Friday 19th November.
We look forward to welcoming you to Light Up A Life.
