Hackney Half Marathon

Run a vibrant, closed-road course through the heart of Hackney, powered by live music, cheering crowds, run crew cheer zones, pacer support and an unforgettable race-day atmosphere.

Taking place on Sunday 16th May, the Hackney Half Marathon attracts thousands of runners and spectators to East London. The 13.1-mile closed-road route winds through Hackney’s vibrant streets, passing local landmarks and buzzing neighbourhoods before finishing at Hackney Marshes. Renowned for its flat, fast course, live music and incredible crowd support, it is a favourite with both first-time half marathon runners and those aiming for a personal best.
