This is a volunteer run community garden open to all providing a community hub. They work closely with other groups to run a range of activities from children’s workshops to pumpkin carving, Easter Egg Hunts and Apple Pressing Days.
Once an unloved patch of land, the space now features a fresh wild pond, place to grow vegetables, fruit and herbs.
Badshot Lea Community Garden which is now a flourishing community garden with allotment spaces to rent, heritage hops grown, areas for biodiversity and a thriving wildlife friendly pond.
Homemade cakes, teas and coffees alongside plants for sale. 50% of all proceeds from ticket sales go to Phyllis Tuckwell.
Admission: £4, which can be pre-booked online or purchased on the day.
