Walk for the Wards

Make the most of a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful 200-acre Hampton Estate this summer, with Phyllis Tuckwell’s Walk for the Wards. This sponsored walk will take place on Sunday 16th June – Father’s Day – and will offer a five or a ten-mile route around this stunning area of rich and diverse habitat, whilst raising money for local hospice care.

The Hampton Estate is located just south of the A31, between Puttenham and Seale. Its owners have kindly opened not only public but also private areas of the estate for the Walk, which will take participants through parkland, meadows, grassland, heathland, chalk downland and woodlands.

Entry is £10 for adults and £4 for children, and dogs are welcome (on a lead). Walkers can start their walk between 9.30 and 10am, and there will be a free ice cream at the end for all who take part. The Walk is kindly sponsored by Wise & Co and the ice creams are sponsored by Spire Health. You can register now at www.pth.org.uk/walk-for-the-wards
