Pop the kettle on and bake that cake – host your own event for Phyllis Tuckwell.
We’re always welcoming knitters and crafters to support us in raising vital funds via the sales of knitted characters in our shops or creating comforting hearts for our patients and their families. Your knitting offers more than just warmth — it brings care, comfort, and connection.
Every stitch helps support hospice care in your community.
Download any of our patterns from the links below. Knit as many or as little as you’d like. When you’re finished, drop or deliver or post to our offices in Farnham, (Headway House, Crosby Way, Farnham, GU9 7XG) Or call the fundraising team on 01252 729446.
We’ll either sell them during the relevant season or deliver them to our patients and their families to bring comfort, care and connection.
We don’t have a specific design for the hearts (pictured below), these could be knitted, crochet or sewn stuffed hearts. Often when they are a similar design or colour, we offer these to out patients and their families to bring comfort and connection.
...we’d still welcome your support! During November and December, we also accept donations of Cadbury's Chocolate Christmas Puddings, and during February and March, we accept donations of Cadbury's Crème Eggs, or chocolate eggs of the same size.
Do I have to fill my knitted items with chocolate?
No, this is totally optional. If you’d like to, we’d be extremely grateful, however it is not a requirement.
Can you take other knitted items as donations?
Unfortunately not, selling knitted items, such as toys, clothes and blankets, without proper CE markings or fire labels can lead to legal repercussions, therefore, we kindly ask that you do not donate other items to us.
