Vibrant Red Lion Fest Will Support Hospice Care

The Red Lion pub in Aldershot is delighted to open its doors for the highly anticipated Red Lion Fest, which will take place on 9th September from midday-10pm. Everyone is invited to this vibrant local festival, which will include fantastic live music, food and drink, and a bouncy castle for the kids. Tickets cost just £10 in advance and all of the money raised will go directly to local hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell, which provides supportive and end of life care for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

“The Red Lion Fest is more than an event, it’s an embodiment of our passion and commitment to making a positive impact in our community,” said Jenny, landlady of The Red Lion pub. “We are proud to support Phyllis Tuckwell and the great work they do, and invite everyone to be a part of this unforgettable day.”

Since Jenny took the helm as the new landlady of The Red Lion earlier this year, she has brought fresh energy to the pub, and it has become an inviting and bustling community hub of entertainment and delicious food and drink. Red Lion Fest provides a great opportunity for locals to come together and enjoy a great day out at the same time as supporting a local charity that provides such important care to those who really need its help.

“We would like to thank Jenny and all at the Red Lion for choosing to support Phyllis Tuckwell through this wonderful festival,” said Samantha West, Community Fundraiser at Phyllis Tuckwell. “It promises to be a fantastic celebration of the local community, so do buy your tickets in advance and look forward to a brilliant day!”

Tickets are just £10 in advance (kids free) and can be bought at register.enthuse.com/ps/event/RedLionFest2023
