Donation Centres

Phyllis Tuckwell has two Donation Centres where you can bring items that you no longer need, like furniture, clothing, books, DVDs, other household objects and bric-a-brac. Unfortunately we are currently unable to accept any electrical items.

Shops

For smaller items like clothes, please drop in your items to your nearest Phyllis Tuckwell shop. You can take your donations to any of our shops, Monday to Saturday. Find more information about your local Phyllis Tuckwell shop including contact details, locations and opening times.

We need your items - Bag It & Give

Do you have lots of items you no longer need? Or maybe you work for an organisation or company that is looking for a different way to support local people?

If the answer is yes, why not take part in our Bag It & Give campaign, and help Phyllis Tuckwell raise 25% more from donations of clothes, accessories, handbags, shoes, books, DVDs, toys and bric-a-brac by filling in a Gift Aid form if you are a UK tax payer.

To get involved in Phyllis Tuckwell's Bag It & Give campaign, all you need to do is collect a donation bag from any of our 18 shops. For larger items or quantities that you may need help transporting, please call us on 01252 710679 to arrange a free assessment and collection.

We will then arrange for some donation bags to be dropped off to your preferred location and will collect all donations at a convenient time to you (please note that door-to-door collections will be made around a week after the bags have been distributed).

If you are representing an organisation or company, why not give one of our 'donation stations' a home in your meeting room, offices, reception or staff canteen? These are cardboard donation stations that hold approximately 20 full donation bags and come with a supply of bags to distribute amongst your staff and are emptied on a regular basis by one of our friendly collection drivers. We can provide supporting leaflets and posters to really raise awareness amongst the staff and visitors to your premises.

For more information on Bag It & Give or to register your interest, please call us on 01252 710679 or email us at biag@pth.org.uk

Gift Aid

If you sign up to Gift Aid, the Government gives us 25p for every £1 we make from your donation - that's 25% more!

So if we sell your donation for £20, we can claim an extra £5, making it worth £25, how amazing is that!

As long as you pay income tax or capital gains tax, you can sign up to Gift Aid. Simply fill in a form when you drop off our donation and make a bigger impact.

Please help us

All our services are free, but this is only possible due to the generosity of our amazing community. The Government/NHS only provide 25% of our costs, so we need to raise over £25,000 every day to provide our vital services.

Please donate what you can to help keep hospice care available to all those in our community who need us.
