Phyllis Tuckwell Motor Show Returns for 2024

Vehicle registration is now open for Phyllis Tuckwell’s Motor Show, which will return on Sunday 11th August, after the success of its fantastic sell-out show last year.

Last year’s event welcomed around 3,000 people to a private venue in Churt, where over 700 vehicles and hundreds of pieces of motoring memorabilia were exhibited. The day raised an incredible £57,000 for local charity Phyllis Tuckwell, which provides Hospice Care for patients and families living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Organisers are hoping that this year’s show will be just as popular.

As well as a wide range of exhibitor vehicles, the show will also include the venue owners’ private collection of over 60 pristine classic cars, from 1903 to the present day, including the fastest car in the world, plus over 100 petrol pumps and thousands of pieces of memorabilia.

We were thrilled with the success of last year’s Motor Show and are delighted to have been invited back for 2024,” said Ruth Masters, Head of Fundraising at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We are very grateful to Robert & Tanya Lewis, the venue owners, for offering this location and for opening up their own incredible private collection of vehicles and motoring memorabilia for attendees to view. We’d also like to say a big thank you to Vizion Insurance Brokers, based in Farnham, who are kindly sponsoring our Motor Show and will be attending on the day.

All of the money raised by this Motor Show will go directly towards helping Phyllis Tuckwell provide its supportive and end of life care. Every day it supports over 250 patients, relatives and carers, but as the NHS/Government usually only covers about 20% of its costs, it has to raise over £25,000 a day to do this.

The show will take place on Sunday 11th August from 10am- 4pm.  The organisers are looking for auction prizes for this event, so if you or someone you know could support in this way, Phyllis Tuckwell would love to hear from you. Exhibitor registration is now open at www.pth.org.uk/motor-show . Registration fees are £25 for vehicles, and £15 for motorcycles/scooters. Vehicle registration includes entry for all passengers to the show and private collection. If you would like a paper registration form sent to you, please email [email protected] or call 01252 729446. Attendee tickets will go on sale on 1st April.
