Every week, Phyllis Tuckwell opens the doors for our Open House afternoons.
Anybody who would like to find out more about the care and support we offer to those living with a terminal illness, such as cancer, motor neurone disease or lung disease, is welcome to drop in to any of our Open House sessions. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to greet visitors and answer any questions they may have, in the relaxed and informal setting of the Hospice Dove Lounge.
At Phyllis Tuckwell, we provide medical and clinical care, therapies, counselling, social work and practical support for our patients and their families and carers, at the Hospice in Farnham, the Beacon Centre in Guildford and in patients’ own homes.
Perhaps a loved one has recently been referred to Phyllis Tuckwell, or you yourself have a terminal illness. If you would like to see the Hospice building but perhaps don’t want to make a formal appointment, you are welcome to drop in. These Open House afternoons will coincide with the last hour of the Day Hospice sessions, which run from 10am to 3pm. The overlap will give those visiting an opportunity to see how a Day Hospice session runs, as well as being able to meet and chat with the nurses there and see the Hospice building and facilities.
