Hospice Farnham

Our Hospice is located about half a mile south-east of Farnham town centre, close to Farnham train station, on the corner of Waverley Lane and Menin Way.

Our 14-bed In-Patient Unit (IPU) is located at the Hospice and offers 24/7 nursing and medical care for those who need to stay with us for a while, either for symptoms management or end of life care. One in three patients whom we care for on our IPU return home following symptom control and pain relief.

At the Hospice, patients can also access our Living Well services and attend outpatient appointments. Patients, families and carers can also meet with our Counsellors, Chaplains, Social Workers and Benefits Advisors, and families and carers can access bereavement support.

If you feel that you should be under our care, please discuss this with your GP, District Nurse, Hospital Doctor or Macmillan Nurse, who can refer you to Phyllis Tuckwell.

Once your referral has been received you will be assessed either in your home, at the Hospice, at the Beacon Centre or Hospital by one of our Specialist Nurses or Doctors.
