Light Up A Life is an important event in our calendar, bringing us all together to celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us. In 2020 this unity has become even more important than ever.
Our 2020 Light up a Life service will be live streamed from Guildford Cathedral on Monday 7th December at 7.30pm.
Please visit this page at this time to watch the service as we remember those we love who are no longer with us. The Order of Service will also be available to download ahead of the service if you wish to follow it as you watch. You may wish to have a candle next to you as you watch as we will invite you to light a candle in memory of your loved one as part of the service.
This years’ service will be different to previous years as we have had to make the difficult decision to hold a virtual service to ensure your safety. The virtual event will be taking place online on Monday 7th December at 7.30pm live from Guildford Cathedral. During the service we will be illuminating the Cathedral with the names of those who are being remembered.

Please note in order for your loved ones name to be projected onto Guildford Cathedral and included in the Book of Remembrance it MUST reach us by the deadline date of Friday 27th November.
The Book of Remembrance will be available to view and download from our website from 7th December 2020.
If you cannot join us to online to watch the service live please do not worry. The service will also be recorded so you can watch it again at a later date.
To keep everyone safe we kindly ask that you do not attempt to attend the service on 7th December. If you do wish to visit the Cathedral in person, the Cathedral will also be lit up on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th December between 5pm and 10.30pm. If you wish to visit on either of these days you are more than welcome, but please respect all social distancing and safety advice.
We would like to thank Guildford Cathedral for kindly allowing us to host this year’s event at the Cathedral.
