FAOS Musical Theatre Group bring you their latest show, Mel Brooks’ stage musical ‘The Producers’.

Famous for its irreverent presentation of ‘Springtime for Hitler’, the show is a rip-roaring comedy which takes no prisoners and doesn’t distinguish Reich from wrong. It is hilarious, irreverent and absolutely unmissable.

New York, 1959. Max Bialystock was once the king of Broadway, but nowadays all his shows close on opening night. Things turn around when he’s visited by the neurotic accountant Leo Bloom, who proposes a scheme tailor-made for producers whose shows are terrible: raise far more money than you need, then make sure the show is a flop. No one will be interested in it, so you can pocket the surplus.

As Max says, “We got the wrong play, the wrong director, the wrong cast. Where did we go right?
