This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Farnham Classic & Vintage Car Show, held in aid of local charity Phyllis Tuckwell which provides supportive and end of life care for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

This ever-popular event will be held on Sunday 21st April at Central Car Park in Farnham, from 10am–4pm. It will include a wide range of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles and ex-Army vehicles. There will also be an autojumble to browse, and refreshments will be on sale.
Entry to the show is free, but donations are welcome and will go directly to Phyllis Tuckwell, along with some of the money raised by the refreshments stall. Last year the show raised £2,533 for Phyllis Tuckwell, enough to provide over a month’s care from one of its Health Care Assistants (HCAs) on its In-Patient Unit (IPU). These HCAs provide compassionate nursing care for patients who are staying on the IPU for symptom management or end of life care, and offer emotional support to their loved ones, too. This care is so important, but as the NHS/Government usually only covers about 20% of Phyllis Tuckwell’s costs, it has to raise over £25,000 a day to continue to provide all of its services.

The Show is a great day out and a must for all the vehicle lovers out there.”
