Celebs Line Up for Phyllis Footie Fundraiser

Come along to a star-studded Celebrity Soccer football match, and watch the fundraising kick off for Phyllis Tuckwell!

After a hugely successful match last year, which raised around £12,000 for local Hospice Care, this popular event is making a return for 2020. It boasts a celebrity line-up which includes Jake Wood, Dan Osborne, Calum Best, James Argent, Jez Lynch, Man Like Haks, Dean Gaffney, Stevi Ritchie, Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe and Danny Williams, with ‘I’m a Celeb’s’ Jacqueline Jossa as Match Manager*. All of the money raised will go towards funding the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

The match will take place on Sunday 5th April at Aldershot Town Football Club. Gates open 1.30pm, with kick-off at 3pm. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children, but entry fees will be higher on the day (adults £13, children £8) so it’s best to buy in advance. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available, at £25 each, and include access to the VIP area, seating and bar, as well as an exclusive meet, greet and photos with the celebs who are able to stay after the match.

“We would like to thank Sellebrity Soccer and all the celebs taking part in this match, as well as Bridges Estate Agents who are supporting the event, and The LGV Training Company and KBO Fire & Security who are sponsoring it,” said Laura Moody, Events Fundraising Manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “Every day we support over 250 local patients, relatives and carers, but as the NHS/Government only covers 20% of our costs, we have to raise over £20,000 a day to do this. Please do come along for a fantastic afternoon of footie and help support our care!”

Buy your tickets now by visiting www.pth.org.uk/event/soccer, emailing [email protected] or calling 01252 729446.

*Celebrities are available subject to work commitments, and the match is also subject to weather and pitch conditions.
