Be a part of your new Hospice build!
Be a part of your new Hospice build!
It’s an exciting and important time in the history of our organisation, as the new Hospice starts to take shape – and we’re thrilled to invite you, our valued staff and volunteers, to be a part of it.
In recognition of all those who were working and volunteering for Phyllis Tuckwell during the time of the new build, we’re offering our staff and volunteers the opportunity to ‘buy a brick’ on the new Hospice site. This is entirely optional and there is no obligation to take part.
The personalised bricks are made from a dark red clay and have an antique appearance, in line with the Victorian cottage theme of the gardens.
They will be laid in a herringbone style as part of the paving in front of the new summer house, which will feature the stained-glass window from the old Hospice chapel.
Each brick will be engraved, leaving a lasting acknowledgement of your generous support and hard work – and by buying a brick, you will be donating directly towards the cost of building your new Hospice.
Each brick will cost £100 and can be engraved with two lines of wording, up to 16 characters long (including spaces).
Staff and volunteers are welcome to purchase a brick individually or as a group, and can have their name, or a family or group name, engraved on the brick, for example:
Sarah Church
The Seton-Jones family
The Cranleigh Shop
The Living Well team
We politely request that people do not purchase bricks in memory of loved ones or include dates in their inscription.
The closing date to buy a brick is Friday 28th February and staff can choose to make their payment in one or three instalments. Unfortunately, the option to pay in installments is only available to staff.
To purchase a brick online please click the relevant button below, or call the Fundraising team on 01252 729446.
