The Silver Stars Parachute Team was formed in 1993 on formation of the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC). The team name "Silver Stars" was adopted taking its name from the pointed stars of the Corps cap badge which was originally silver.
The team are made up of both Regular and Territorial members of the RLC and rely on team members being released from their regimental dutues to represent the RLC on parachute displays and other key events. All parachutists are experienced skydivers and have completed over 25,000 jumps between them.
