If you’re looking to spruce up your wardrobe ready for the colder months, then look no further. Phyllis Tuckwell’s charity shops are now stocking a fantastic range of autumn and winter clothing and accessories, so head to your nearest store to browse knitwear, jackets, hats, scarfs and boots, as well as a variety of lighter seasonal fashion items.
Following the current trends from the catwalks, for both formal and casual looks, Phyllis Tuckwell’s shops are offering a wide range of clothing, including beautifully designed women’s tailoring, show-stopping party dresses and a wide range of accessories including shoes, boots, hats, and jewellery. For the men, denim and casual looks are available, including polo shirts, tee-shirts, jeans and jackets, along with smarter shirts and suits, all at amazing prices.
“Our new season stock is available in all 19 of our shops, which are located across West Surrey and North-East Hampshire” says Phyllis Tuckwell’s Retail Operations Manager, Barry Young. “As next week (9th-15th October) is Hospice Care Week, it’s a great time for people to visit our shops. As well as picking up a bargain, you’ll know that the money you spend will go directly towards helping those who are living with a terminal illness, such as cancer.”
Every day, Phyllis Tuckwell supports over 250 local patients, relatives and carers – in their own homes, in the community, at the Hospice in Farnham and at the Beacon Centre in Guildford, through a mix of medical and nursing care, therapies, counselling, social work advice and practical support. However, as the NHS/Government only covers 20% of its costs, it has to raise over £20,000 a day to be able to offer all of its services, free of charge, to its patients and their families, and its shops are one of the ways in which it does this.
