Guildford Cafe Bridge

Thursday, 13 September 2012

Come and join us in a day of fun bridge in the lovely Cathedral City of Guildford. Play will take place in various venues in the City Centre and will be directed by June Booty who is a National Panel Tournament Director for the E.B.U.

How does Cafe Bridge work? All players will meet at the registration point in Guildford between 10:15 and 10:45am. There you will be given instructions and a map of venues. You will make your way to the first venue and play 3 or 4 hands of bridge and when these boards are completed you will walk to the next venue and play again, and so on throughout the day. Lunch will be provided in whichever venue you are at 1:00pm and refreshments will be available for purchase at each venue througout the day.

When the last boards are completed you will walk back to the registration venue where all participants will convene for a summary of the day and where results, prize giving and raffle will take place around 4:15pm.

Entry fee: £22 per player to include coffee on arrival and a 2 course lunch.

NB. As you will be walking between venues please wear comfortable shoes and also be aware that Guildford is not the flattest city and there will be steps and stairs at some venues.

All profits will go to the Hospice.
