Bumper plant sale to take place at Hospice

This year we have a bumper plant sale taking place on Sunday 1 July 10am – 1pm at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. We are very pleased to say we have had an enormous volume of plants donated to the Hospice, but this does mean we need twice as many buyers! There are hundreds of plants to choose from at bargain prices, so come down and pick up a great deal and support your local Hospice. Every penny raised from the plant sales go towards providing the Specialist Care to those 140 patients, families and carers who we support each and every day from our local area.

Ruth Scammell Community and Events Fundraising Manager added “I would like to thank all those who have generously donated plants and vegetables for us to sell. You have kept a vast and constant supply coming to the Hospice and we are very grateful. Many of you give them anonymously so we have no way of thanking you but please be assured that we really value your support. We are also grateful to the volunteers who sell the plants at our monthly plant sale on the first Sunday of each month at the Hospice between April - October”.
