Support Us
PLEASE NOTE: No services are offered at the Waverley Lane site, as we are currently building a new Hospice. Inpatient services are in the In-Patient Unit in Camberley. Outpatient services are mainly at the Beacon Centre in Guildford, with some counselling services at Headway House in Farnham. If you have any Covid symptoms (high temperature or new consistent cough) please do not visit us.

The compassionate Hospice Care we offer to patients and their families is only possible through the generous support of our local community, who have provided both money and time to support us for over 40 years. The Government/NHS usually only provide around 20% of our income, so we have to raise over £25,000 every single day to offer all our services. Please support us, so we can continue to offer this valuable care to local families at probably the worst times in their lives.

'I will be running the 2024 London Marathon in memory of my dad, Ian, who died of cancer in 2018. He was the glue to our family, the party starter and King of the Bar. I've never run a marathon before so this is a HUGE challenge!Dad died at just 56 years of age. He was diagnosed with bowel cancer, which had already spread to his liver & bones. The news was shattering for our family. Those next 8 months were a conveyor belt of medicine, scans, blood tests, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, custard slices (to keep his weight on) tears, anger & a whole lot more. During all of it, Phyllis Tuckwell supported dad & us from the sidelines. So, if there is one charity that will get me through this ALMIGHTY challenge, it'll be Phyllis Tuckwell. They are the most incredible hospice that delivers unmatched care in the community, offering respite and palliative care during the hardest, yet most precious times for loved ones. They sent care teams to our home, night nurses & offered a bed for dad in the hospice. Dad was made comfortable at home by their teams & we trusted them. They prepared my mum, sister & I for the inevitable. In our moments of fear, the nurses were warm & friendly, they, somewhat, lifted us with their visits. Phyllis Tuckwell continued to call after dad passed. They offered us grief counselling & supported us through the hard year of firsts without dad. They were unbelievable, they knew how the story unfolded & prepped us for every step of the way.I won't be the only one to have suffered a loss of a parent or loved one from terminal cancer or illness. 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with some form of cancer which means that Phyllis Tuckwell is only ever going to become a service in higher demand than what it already is.'www.justgiving.com/page/chloe-hyland-1707579955538 ... Our Living Well sessions are a great way for patients to get to know each other, and this peer support is really important to their wellbeing. They often find shared interests, and last month a few of our patients, and some of our nursing staff, realised that they all loved George Michael! 🎸✨They found out that a George Michael tribute was playing in Aldershot, and asked our Living Well team if it might be an option for them all to go to it together. The team were really excited about the opportunity and did everything needed to make it happen. Each person paid for their own ticket and everyone had an amazing time!#PhyllisTuckwell ...
